I swam 10 feet away and was kneeling on the bottom as I purged images from the memory card to make room for the Baracuda video that I wanted to shoot. I turned back around and he was not there - turned some more and he was sneaking up on me - I froze for a second then decided to place the camera between the two of us - kind of a shield. The fish was about 5 feet long and looked quite confident in his ability to defend his territory. Check out those teeth!
